Welcome

Welcome for future European urologists

The European Urology Residents Education Programme (EUREP) is an acclaimed, highly-informative programme for final-year residents. Organised by the European School of Urology, EUREP is designed to offer urology essentials through five comprehensive modules comprised of lectures, discussions, videos and test-your-knowledge sessions.

The EUREP faculty are esteemed experts in their field, carefully selected for their vast knowledge, skills, experience and teaching abilities. The HOT tutors guide the participants and help hone laparoscopic, ureteroscopic and transurethral resection skills through the Hands-on-Training (HOT) sessions. These sessions are offered at various levels of expertise – with one tutor per participant for optimal guidance.

We at EUREP would like to thank Olympus for their support of the HOT sessions which plays an essential part of the training programme.

For those who would like to partake in the EUREP programme, we would advise that you check the selection criteria. Interested parties are also asked to answer multiple-choice questions based European Urology articles to earn CME credits. To find out more, please click here.

The course and accommodation are free of charge for selected European participants. Selected non-Europeans must cover the cost of their accommodation. All participants should cover their own travel costs. Find out more here.

We look forward to welcoming you from 4-9 September 2020 in Prague!

Dear resident

You can look forward to six days of compact yet comprehensive training in urology. Aside from extensive modules, you will undergo the popular Hands-on Training sessions. These sessions will consist of learning-by-doing by using advanced equipment for laparoscopy, ureteroscopy (URS) and transurethral resection (TUR). The EUREP expresses its appreciation for Olympus’ support of the HOT sessions which plays an integral part of the annual programme.

Participants can fine-tune their skills on 24 training stations where they will be guided by an expert tutor per station. Each trainee will have approximately 55 minutes of training that is adapted to his/ her skill level. For the novice surgeon, the programme is more of an introduction. The more experienced trainee will learn tips and tricks from the veteran tutors.

If you meet the criteria and you are selected for this unique programme, congratulations! Get the most out of this unique opportunity to maximise your urologic knowledge and hone your hands-on-training skills.
